I was just looking at some diamond shaped led rear turn signals that look like that they would look great. The only real question I have is someone told me that they sometimes don't work unless they have another part to make them work. I was just wondering if anyone else on here has put led on an older VFR. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

You may have to put a load resistor on the LED to make it blink. Some of us with old CB's change to LED's to save some wattage on the recharge system.

I had all 4 signals on my old VF replaced to LED's.

The Load resistor helps it blink at a normal speed but I just left it as it was.

The fast blinking got people attention.
