Location of Engine Number - 93 vfr750 - URGENT

hi guys,

i have my bike in the shop for a roadworthy/safety certificate (change of ownership)

the garage can not find the location of the Engine number???

i need to know where i can find it so i can get him to fill out the paperwork,

can anyone tell me where i can find it?

when i saw it, the side covers were stripped.. what else would need to be removed to find it?

PM tinkerinWstuff, we had this issue with the engine I shipped him so if anyone can help you he can and will.

 

thanks, i will do that but i need to know asap (next 30min or so i hope) so i can get my bike back.

the guy at the shop pretty much cracked it when i said i need it back already.

im wondering if its that hard to find when the engines out of the bike, if it will be in some obscure inaccessible place. hoping it isn't and that the mech just wasnt looking hard enough.

by the way.... its urgent because i dont drive (dont hold a car license) and without it, i cant do anything.
