Los Angeles area custom seats

I have a 94 VFR750, and have realized my riding companion would like some more security. So my solution is to get a backrest of some sort. Are there any ideas where I might find something to fit my bike or get one made.

I know Corbin has the G/L saddle which I like but if I am spending that amount why not spend it on a custom that will fit and not worry if something might fit.

I also am in the market for any side bag mounting gear someone might be getting rid of.

Several sources for aftermarket seats, or DIY. Any good auto upholstery palce can make them, with guidance.

For bags you have Givi kits at Twistedthrottle.com.

I made by won from mid 80's BMW hard bags and frames. All it took was some 1/8" X 1" SS strap bent the right way and some bolts. Looks and works great, lock on and open.
