Does anyone have any experience in lowering a 3rd gen? Or has anyone come across a thorough forum on how to do it.

I’ve got short legs and would like to touch the ground a little more lol.

    Thanks! :)

Hey man u finally get that bike on the road yet? Post a pic of your progress. Slide the front forks up in the triple clamps, Lowering links, Play with the rear preload, Turn the rear hub carrier 180 in the rear swing arm. get some tall boots lol. Try riding a drz400. I was on my tippy toes. The vfr is not that tall.

It’s close. Probably about 400 left. It will be on the road next year. I don’t wanna rush it :). It’s at my buddies house right now. I’ll try to get him to send me some pics

Something i've noticed is that the longer you ride any bike, the smaller it feels, so i'd advise you not to mess up the suspension travel by lowering it. Instead, get some riding in b4 you decide to do anything.
