I did 135 miles on 4.1 gallons. So, 150 per tank ought to be achievable - if barely.

    Anyone get 150 or more?

    ß!

I think I got 86 miles out of 3.5 gallons the last fill up... 24.5 miles per gallon! Oh well, I didn't buy this one to be efficient, I have an '05 Zuma for that...

Yeah i average 46 mpg cruising at 70 on long trips. Still i fill up around 150 anyway. I've never needed 4 gallons of petro, usually around 3.7 or 3.8 at best. Note i did put a throttlemeister on for consistency. However around town it sucks gas, mostly cause it's impossible to behave. I did not modify mine in terms of screwing with 1st and 2nd. Hope this helps you.

148 on a recent road trip. All secondary highway at altitude. I was on fumes or close to it by the time we got to a gas station. Somehow my mileage goes UP in the mountains. I suppose being jetted for 8,000ft it gets more efficient than running lean at lower elevation?

I was getting 200 from a tank on my trip from Dallas to Ottawa (2002 Vtec with PCIII and TBR pipe). The bike could do it but my arse was the limiting factor. I expect the new to me 2007 will do better as it is up one tooth on the front sprocket. I guess we shall see.

My old 91 only achieved 120 and that was pushing it. That was a PITA when I was touring.

I think the gist of this thread is that it was started in the 7th Gen Section. And as we all know, the 7th Gen has way too small of a gas tank. We all know this because we read about it on the internet.

And I sat on a 7th Gen in the dealership once.

    I can typically get 150mi. A fill-up of about 3.7-3.8 gallons.
The furthest I went was 175mi, and I was on fumes I added 4gal of gas that day.
Lately I fill when the fuel indicator blinks at me at that is in the 130-140mi range.

Wow I go always 146 to 170 and it's always 3.8 gals to top her off but then I ride like the old man I am. All my ridding is right around 60 with a little 69 mph mixed in milage drops like a rock if I ride around the stop and go beach traffic during tourist season.

i think that what this thread has proven is that the low fuel indicator flashes a bit too soon....i can do 170-180 no sweat and still have nearly a gallon left...i'm usually around 38 MPG when i check....and i have a hard time keeping it below 69 MPH

I average around 120-130 before the light starts going nuts, but I ride a bit spirited. Wish there was a way to get a little more out of it...

167.7 and 4.22 gallons for most mileage
153.8 at 4.62 gallons most gas
150.8 at 3.63 gallons for best mpg

My mileage is held down by my very short commute to work. At 9.1 miles barely time to warm up and get out of guzzle mode.

hah, is there a low record? I went on a ride in the TX hill country just RIPPING on the old girl, and she punished me by running bone dry @ 107 mi (and this from a full tank, too). Lucky me, I was with a buddy whose FJR had ample room in the saddle bag for a gallon gas can.

my first tank of gas (brand new bike) was horrible ... absolutely horrible... i got 142KM (yes KM) until the reserve started flashing ... 142km is approx 88 miles...

since then its more in the 180-200km (which is about 110-120miles) per tank before the reserve starts to blink...
