minimum compression?

    i have 1983 vf750 interceptor has 120psi compression is that to low to run?

    So you took it apart. So did ya place the rings in the proper order on the piston?
    The comp should be @ 170 and higher and uniform in all cyls. next Question is you did a deglase of the cyls?
    Run the engine and do a breakin policy of up and down on the throtle keep the rpm below 5000 for the first 180 miles modulating the throtle up and down again . After all this redo the comp test to see if it had gone up to a normal range. Also do a wet test wth oil to se if the comp increas's -
