Do the mirrors of a 98-99 vfr800 fit on a 96 vfr750 and are the 98-99 mirrors different, without "condom" covering or are the 00-01 the only ones with out "condom" covering? Need a right side replacement. Have used emgo (i believe that's the brand) mirrors before but quality of images is poor. Would like to put mirrors w/o "condom" covering.
What are the mounting hole centers on the original mirrors.... Emgos are fine, if same type of mounting, can swap out the lower mounting brackets... not sure when the condoms ended, try 2002 up? Still may have to change bases. Me, I put emgos on my OEM bases.
