Im looking for something to keep my legs warm, now that its "cold" (Im in San Diego).

I did a little searching around here & found Motoport (Kevlar Motorcycle Apparel - the Best in the World), but was curious if anyone here has thier pants & first hand experience on how warm they are.

Thier CORDURA products look reasonable in price, but they dont say anything about riding conditions, just that they are a "denim" replacement, which makes me think this is a more summer kind of pant.

they have a KEVLAR pant but DANG.......... @ $300 plus another $100 for a cold weather liner.....................

Honestly I was just hoping for something I could pull over my jeans, zip up, ride to work zip off & be ready to go. I have a mesh jacket for summer & a nice Gortech jacket that works really nice on the cold rides in during the winter.

    thanks
    Bob

how cold can it get in san diego? i'm in virginia and ride in the low 50s with just jeans and a set of thermals on the bottom. it is definitely a cheaper option.

    cold in Cali?

    Maliboost,
From a lil further down South....the flat lands of Eastern,N.C. I wear a First gear over pant w/lining over jeans and let it roll....but as I have aged I enjoy my Gerbings Gloves and jacket liner ...very toasty especially the heated collar against my neck.......

I have the motoport kevlar-strech over pant. I have riden in 35-40 degrees with a pair of jeans under them and had no problem. I did not want the liners. Also these things are bomb proof, you should go to there shop and check there stuff out, it's just up the road there in San Diego area.
