Motorcycle rdie to Bodie. Camping Gear Suggestions?

I'm heading on a ride to Bodie, California. Needed some camping gear suggestions/food. I'd like this to be practice run for my next long trip.

Got the tent and bag... Just looking for some additional recommendations.

Also if you have routes suggestions back to Portland from Bodie. It's the open road passed Bodie! Thinking of taking the coast all the way home.

Ride to Bodie...

 

I just got back yesterday from a 4K two week loop on my Nighthawk (along with my buddy on a Harley) out of Gunnison, CO west to Yosemite, Sequoia/Kings Canyon and through SF up the coast to Newport, OR then to Portland, Missoula, Yellowstone and back down to Gunnison, fabulous ride. I took along a tent, air mattress, sleeping bag, one burner propane stove for making coffee, small soft cooler, can of peanuts, Marathon bars, water, bought some food items along the way and went mostly to fast food restaurants. Did stay in motels 5 nights due to inclement weather. This trip, I used 55L and 30L dry bags from Bass Pro to keep the clothes and gear dry, worked great. I highly reccommend taking CA 1 and US 101 up the coast. Redwood NP between Eureka and Crescent City is worth spending some time in. It was very cool riding up the coast, I needed to bundle up most of the time. Have a good one.
