    Hello,
I will be picking up my first VFR this afternoon and I am STOKED!! This really seems to be the perfect fit for me to meet my needs. This one is a 1998 happens to be outfitted with a Staintune exhaust, K&N filter, Corbin seat, Gerbings plug in with thermostat, a second accessory plug, 24,600 miles and just received a24,000 tune up. I am a happy dude. . . . here is a pic. . .sweet!!!!

Looks like a real clean example from the pictures.

Very nice, identical to my 99 I just got.

Hey, check the health of your rectifier. Make sure the battery is getting 14v. I just went through all this mess as it wasn't charging the battery.

MotoMax, these are great bikes and I am sure your going to have a ball riding it.
Chris is right about the rectifier. It seems to be the only problem on these bikes.
There is lots of threads on this website on this problem. Other than that.....just enjoy.
IMHO '98 and '99 VFRs are the "creme de le creme" (sp?) of the VFR clan

looks great. Just like my 1998 before I started riding it. Now it's a bit more worn, but I've put 15k hard miles on it since then. It should serve you well.
