Just bought this baby. Has 1 km on it and is a 2014. Saved an unbelievable amount on it. Now just have to wait until spring.

In the next few days, I'm going to test ride a white 2014, just to see how it compares to my 6th gen.

    Such a good looking bike.

I have a question that is sort of a thread hijack, but I'm curious if a real wrench expert could chime in - do you think it would be possible to adapt the front end radiator and plastics of the 8th gen to a 6th gen, thus creating the best looking VFR ever?

Without even looking (or even owning either), but just thinking about the packaging differences (and assuming the frame mounts are the same for the fairing brackets) I bet it at a minimum would take radiators, oil cooler, headers, headlight, associated mounting/routing/piping crap, etc etc etc. A lot of money/work. Would be neat.

Thanks for all the congrats folks. Riding season usually starts late March or Early April. As soon as the first big rain to wash all the salt off the roads. And yes Duccman I saved a bundle. With Honda panniers I saved over $4500. Got it at the Toronto bike show this past weekend.

Just make sure they give you the rear cowl along with that rear seat.
