What kind of hitch do you use on the VFR for pulling that? Any issues with handling?

Not necessarily... Its like anything else that has power - do you need 600hp in your Z06? Nope, but nice to know its there.

I do my fair share of competitive fishing, so I'll add this:

    1. If you're running offshore, its nice to have 3 motors. If 1 goes down, hopefully the others don't! (although RPMs are often limited if one of the outboards goes down, but at least you can limp back home)

    2. If you're fishing in big money tournaments (with $100's of thousands on the line) and you're on the clock, the sooner you get to your fishing grounds, the longer you can fish before having to head back.

    3. Inclement weather. A single motor is going to work a lot hard to push that 32 footer through 15 foot rollers than having all 3 do the same.

    4. Its damn fun!

The Verado's are a nice engine (supercharged, and quiet as hell), but I'd prefer the Mercury Pro XS. Either way, they're expensive as hell.
