need advice on 2002 purchase

hi,new to the board.i am looking for a used vfr and think i have found an outstanding deal here in Portland,Oregon.its a 2002,red model.it has 12000 miles,Staintune exhaust, power commander,new Metzler Sportechs,matching hard bags.the bike is so perfect that i thought it was new when i first spotted it.it is absolutely perfect in every way,dyno tuned for the pipes and commander,not a blemish anywhere.the shop wants $5299 for it but i,m about to offer them $4800 for it.wouldn,t this be an irresistable buy.or would i be better off throwing in a couple thousand more and getting a newer model?if i did,then i would have to put in a lot more for pipes and a commander.tough choice.thanks for viewing!

 

Welcome. If it has everything you want and its super clean then $4800 isn't bad. I'd definetly try to get it out the door for that price or try to get the dealer to throw in some goodies but I'm pretty cheap though. If it follows you home be sure to post some pics.
