i just got a 2001 vfr needs some work like body hardware and would like to do some mods like lower it exhaust etc. does anyone know where i can get body hardware chearper than a dealer or how to lower the bike and any advise on upgrades thanks
Hello and welcome to the forum btw! As far as cheaper body work, I would say to keep an eye on e-bay, craigslist, VFRworld buying and selling, and VFRdiscussion buying and selling. Popular 5th gen upgrades are aftermarket exhaust (I have highmount), heated grips, Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen, Sargent saddle (or Corbin, depends on your ) , and have added a PC3 and racetech fork springs. Some remove the cat, and some keep it...to each his own. Not much advice on lowering it personally, but some folks on here have done so.
