Howdy team, this is my first time on a forum. So yall be gentle if i do something real stupid.
I ride a 04 VFR800I, red, all stock (for now). I want some pipes so bad but theres not much to choose from? Yall got any leads on some goods. I also want to beef the engine? So lead me to the fast lane.
I have owned CBRs all my life. I bleed Honda!!!!! My last was a 954. I went to trade on a 1000 and saw the VFR. Shall we say love at first sight. So now i have to learn about this thing.
I have a new daughter that is 14 months old now. After two jobs i can start to breath again. Time to build on the bike.
Yall ring my ears with ideas. It'll be appreciated!!

    Howdy,
I have a 07 VFR800Fi and it was love at first sight here too. I haven't made many mods yet, but it seems that if you want to make that thing scream the things to get are:
    1. A Power Commander III - This reprograms the bike for a little boost, and is customizable for different exhaust configurations.
    2. Some new pipes by Staintune or Remus or TwoBros
    3. Gut the catalytic Converter, that thing is a choke point for exhaust
If you get the exhaust in titanium, you will shed some weight, and that is always good.

Good luck on the changes! Let us know how they go! Oh yeah, and look into a fender eliminator kit by Custom Werkes, it will make the bike LOOK faster!

Welcome! I like the look of the stock pipes and there are several people that have either drilled them out to increase sound and reduce back pressure. Also a few that have cut the ends out and gutted the baffles and then rewelded. The power commanders I have only heard good things about too. Good luck with your build up.

Hi and welcome. There are a number of manufacturers who make aftermarket exhausts. www.exoticsportbike.com has a number of vendors listed on their site, just kinda have to sort thru them to se which one offers something for your bike. Also, a point of not, I do not believe that what is listed for each manufacturer is a complete listing. If you can find the makers website, you might find more offered.
