New Bike..Stupid Questions..

Hi,

Just purchased a 84 700..Doing most of the work myself so have a few questions.. One what is the shift pattern on the bike is it 5 up? Also my carbs were so out of adjustment when I got the bike..I got the idle down but is still seems to be running rich..and ideas..Thanks in advance.

 

1 down 5 up, recommend that you sync the carbs and install new spark plugs, see if that helps.
