    Hello all,

I previously had a 08 VFR and I sold it years ago. A few motorcycles after, I needed one to commute to work since I just moved from Boston to Los Angeles and I found this good deal on 2000 VFR and I just got it.

So new bike and new place for me. Bike is riding great I just need to get used to it coming from a Triumph Street Triple.

Anybody from L.A area ? I just moved here looking to ride with fellow VFR riders.

    Thank you all

    Hi welcome to the MadHouse

Congratulations on bagging a 5th Gen - great bikes if used regularly and can even survive the occasional sniper attack and off roading. The carbs won't appreciate being parked up for months at a time so - ride regularly, ride often and more importantly ride now... PS there are a good few VFRW regulars on here based in and around LA and along the whole west coast and loads with plenty of hands on knowledge on these bikes so your choice is impeccable. When you get a chance post up a photo of your new bike - although I too found the Street Triple too much fun to miss out on especially for local trips in the Alps.

If you are around LA over Memorial weekend keep an eye out for some sort of meet.

    Well spotted - FI indeed.

Clearly been browsing too many ads for RVFs I really need to do one thing at a time. Back to RVFs... Reports in the media this side of the pond have articles drawing on recent Honda patent filings pretty much confirming that there is definitely a new Honda V4 superbike coming - with some stunning RVF colour scheme mock-ups and potentially an affordable 9th Gen VFR to follow.
