Just got 99 VFR 800, Red in good shape with 18K miles. A Little faster then my 81 750K model cafe! Internet articles give specs as fuel injected but it has a choke. Is there a Interceptor FI model? What do I have here? Anyway, i plan to upgrade exhaust, either full or slipon for nicer sound. Any recommendations would be appreciated by those that already tried different brands. Bikes owned past 12 months include a 98 Daytona T595, 09 Busa, Harley Softail and My old 750 K. I have a 73 750 K project cafe. Looking forward to learning about this bike and putting lots of miles on it! Regards, King.
Thank you for feed back. Young sales guy didn't have a clue as someone traded in this bike. It's interesting to get aquainted with a new bike. I need to get a manual for reference, maybe one online. King
