So yes i just got a 87 VFR. I need to convert those rims to fit zx-17's though. the 16-18 rims won't do. Does anyone know where to start? Petersonn@wit.edu... Happy riding
Look into CBR 600 F3 conversion. I don't think you can just put 17in rims on it without converting the forks. I'm not sure if the back will just bolt up or if you are stuck with the rim you have. If you serach the 1st gen forum for f3 conversion you will probably find some useful information.
Hi Electronic and welcome to the group. I think rc51 may be right about the rear wheel bolting up and a search of the 1st gen forum. I am thinking it won't as axle size may be different. Worst case is that you will be stuck with what you have, but you could also search the aftermarket and see what is offered.
