Hey Guys AKA here in souther california.
I just picked up this beauty `04 VFR 800. The guy before me did a couple of mods like changing out the front forks to the F4i due to pre-load adjustability and so forth with this mod he de-linked the brakes and I'm not sure I like that as I would love to have felt what that feels like. But it has a nice set of scorpion slip-ons and a pc3 power commander and a nice drop in air filter.

So I've been on E-Bay and elsewhere for some after-market parts for my new baby and there just doesn't seem to be A lot.
I did order a new Corbin Seat as I have one for my Harley and I love their saddles so I'm looking forward to this mod and I ordered the Heli-bars cause I like to sit more upright as I ride a road King as my other bike. I just got rid of a Ducati 848 that was just too aggressive. I'm getting too old for that stance.

If anyone has info on where to get things like charcoal front marker covers maybe a new chain gaurd as mine seems to have been a bit weathered. any other fun stuff.

BTW I live in Yorba Linda Orange county Ca. and I love to go riding but am usually restricted to Sundays as I work on Saturdays.

Welcome. Nice looking bike. Thurn motorsports out of Gemany has some cool carbon fibre and aluminum chain guards. The website needs a google translation. I'm not sure what type of riding you do, but a differant set of shoes from what you've got attached now, would be a great place to add a meaningful performance upgrade. Metzler M3's, Michlen pilot 2 CT's, and Pirreli Corsa III's, are all popular. They all give the bike a sportier look aswell.

Throttlemeister bar ends can look really cool too, plus you get the side benefit of a non-locking cruise control.

actually, a lot of people here covet the delinking mod. it makes for cheaper upgrades to steel brake lines, too. I myself used to think about it, but I lucked into an upgrade on the stock brake lines to the galfer steel braids for free so I'll leave mine linked. I don't really notice it, but I'm sure there is some difference... welcome to the site. I'm sure I'll see you around sometime. If you decide to do some riding on great twisty's with less traffic, give me a yell. I live in San Luis Obispo or SLO county. We get together and ride a fair amount around here.
