I just got a 94 VFR750F, and I amlooking to riding it once I get it running. It has been sittimg out ungera tree for the past 8-10 years. The carbs are so guncked up that it is goung ti take a bit of soakink to get them cieand up. I am finding most of the things I will need on line. That is except compleat rebuilde kits for the carbs. I also need some of the screws that hold the butterfly valve in place. Any help would be great.

Welcome to the forum. I just did the carbs on my 93. There is not a complete rebuild kit that you can buy as in just 1 piece. You have to get things separately. There are a few things that come in set, like the gaskets. Bike Bandit.com is an invaluable tool to use. Also, do you have a manual? You can download the PDF here: 1990-1996 Honda VFR Service Manual.html. Hope it helps.

Welcome to the forum! You might want to post your location - never know if there's a VFR guru right around the corner.
OK rant mode on - never ceases to amaze me how badly people abuse expensive machinery by leaving it outside for years like it's a piece of trash.
Good on you for pulling it inside and restoring it!

First Thanks for the responses. It is sad how people are with things. It took me about five years on and off to obtain this bike. But it was worth it because I got it for FREE. AS for my location, I am in Kyle, TX just south of Austin. I do have a manual for the VFR but I did download it as a backup. Bike bandit.com is a grate resource I have getting parts there for my Suzuki GSX1100G for years.

Removing the throttle plate screws is NOT a recommended proceedure and is not necessary 99% of the time and is not part of a routine cleaning.

Good find, but that bike's going to need a new chain (and sprockets), battery, and tires after sitting exposed to weather, so are you sure the engine will turn over by hand and is not stuck...... before you spend time and money ??
