I am now a new VFR owner! in part thanks to everyone who gave their opinions on the bike. In previous threads I was thinking about a 93 VFR750, and then I spotted this 2002 VFR800 with ABS and linked braking in the buy & sell. It came with everything I need to start touring...hard bags and a seargent seat. I thought it was a pretty good deal. The bike is in excellent condition with 29,000 km....I am in Canada so everything is metric. I would just like to pass on my thanks again for showing me that the VFR can be a good touring bike. I have read really good things about it. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about the 2002 model? I have heard of some recalls for that year, any other problems I should keep my eyes and ears open to?

    Thanks and happy riding!
    Shawn
