    Hi,

Does anyone knows if honda will ever renew the 1200 model?
Goldwing is too big and i'll love a new 1200-1300 cc sportier engine with some new tech on.

    Thanks

I believe that Honda is abandoning the I.C. engine. It is getting too hard to meet emission regs. and Gov't's are wanting E.V.'s.

    Only in our dreams Nikkon.
Sadly, VFR800 and VFR1200 are dead and buried! Believe its all to do with meeting strict Euro 5 standards of noise, emissions and fuel economy.

It’s more like the fact that an earthquake flattened the factory in 2016

“Due to this earthquake, Honda will halt operations at its Kumamoto Factory (Ozu-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture) until April 22, 2016.

“Subsequent production plans will be determined according to facility restorations and component supply. Honda wishes the Kyushu residents the soonest recovery, and will put all our efforts into it.”

This means that production of the firm’s Gold Wing, Fireblade, NC750, VRF1200F and others has been temoporarily halted while Honda inspect the factory for damage, and ensure that the facility is safe for workers to return on April 22.

Which is why we are all honour-bound to maintain our VFR800's and VFR1200's in as pristine a condition as we can so that another generation will be able to enjoy them when we (and petrol) are gone. :)
