Hi everyone. I just bought an all orginal 2000 VFR800 in Millenium Yellow. Been looking for a good bike for about 12 months and finally tracked one down. It should arrive in the next week or so. Looking forward to do some touring with my better half.

Houston. We have a problem. The batteries in our camera has dies and we don't have any photos to show to prove the existence of this newly acquired yellow machine.

Welcome to the site Bass. You will either love or learn to love this new machine. Post up some photos of your new to you ride. How far away is it? Why not just fly there and ride it back? For most, the VFR is a very ridable bike for distances.

That looks pretty clean. I guess Texas to Wisconsin is a bit of a trek. I about to head to Sacramento and team up woth a couple to continue on to the Baja in a few days so will have a bit of a leather ass by time I get back from there.

Enjoy the bike. Most of us do. Someday, I hope to ride through the Great State of Texas too. Are you going to mount some big Jeazuz steer horns on that pup?

And ppl thought I was nuts for traveling from Michigan to WI to get mine....

(Hint: bikes in the Northern States don't get ridden in the winters, and if stored well, are awesome deals)
