    Welcome to VFRWorld boonie22 !
I have a couple of questions.
How long have you been riding?
What are the other two bikes you have owned?
And the most nagging question in my mind, why paint what looks to be an unmolested beauty?
..................I just thought of one possible reason.............it's not RED (and we all know that the red ones are the fastest)!!

Agree with Joe. Your bike looks to be in nice shape. I am getting mine painted this winter for the second time but mine has been though hell and needs the paint job.

Welcome to the site BTW and thanks for posting the pix.

Coming on 2 years of riding street. Rode dirt bikes growing up but don't really count that.
I still own the other two :D and my wife is about ready to kill me if I don't collapse that down into only one bike.
I have an 06 Honda Shadow and a 08 FZ6 turned naked. Got the VFR because the Shadow just wasn't doing it for me and the FZ6 is a great bike, just terrible when the wind hits me hard and I do long rides since I live 35 minutes from anything. Also told my wife I'd sell the other two if I could grab the VFR:Rolleyes:.

Now for the painting of the bike. I'll admit my idiocy. Went out on my first ride with the VFR, noticed my clock was off and pulled over in....wait for it....GRAVEL...Told my wife I'd be home at a certain time so I stopped to fix the clock. Next thing I know my foot slips out on the gravel and down goes Frazier.
Insert multiple expletive's at a high volume and there I stood with a tipped bike and a broken clutch lever. :Violin:
Heave Ho'd the thing back to it's rightful angle and rode home in shame.
Getting it painted red so I'll get that extra 10 hp. Plus my shadow is a beautiful red I wanted to mimic. Also made sure to get some Honda tank wing decals since the old tank was unmolested and I loved the decals. I'll be sure to post some pictures once it's finished.
