Hi I am new here, don't have a VFR yet. I currently ride an 07 ST1300 that I am selling and then will purchase an 08 VFR in the spring, waiting until I move from FL to GA. For now I am just going to look around and see what's what!

Hi there, I was thinking of the ST1300 as my next bike... mind giving me a review and and why your changing up.

Now is a good time to buy though, lots of deals and incentives plus there are some dealers that are quite eager to remove stock.

Cheers and welcome from another new guy.

I want to try a lighter bike, I don't really have the free time to take long trips and take advantage of the ST. I always ride solo as my wife doesn't like riding. As far as I can tell sitting on them both the riding position isn't very different. The ST is an amazing bike, I am always surprised at how capable a bike that heavy is and how quickly the weight disappears. With all of that said however there is no doubt in my mind that my body will feel a significant differance riding all day on a bike 250 lbs lighter, hell thats 20 lbs. more than i wiegh!
