I was looking for a motorcycle to commute to work on "65 miles each way" and a friend suggested a VFR. I started looking at them and I have the $ to go buy one however there are three in my area "NE Ohio" that I can find for sale. Two are 2007 and are both red and there is also a black 2006. Bike #1. Red with 1500 miles on it. Asking 6900 Bike #2 Red with 3400 miles on it. Asking 6900 Bike #3 Black with 14k miles on it. Asking 6300 Is it just me or are these a little overpriced? I would have liked to find a 5th but it looks like there are just 6th gens for sale around here.
If the 1500 mile red has abs and is in perfect condition, I would go for it. I paid more than that for my 07 red abs with similar miles 7 months ago. That red will get you more compliments than you can stand! Best paint color ever.
Thanks for the reply. They are all abs equipped. I know that the 5th gens are supposed to be better, but for a commuter being ridden 20000 miles or so a year I cant see how a 12 year old motorcycle would be better in that instance than a 4 year old.
