Just closed the deal on a new '08 VFR. Picking it up on Wednesday. I'm looking for a set-up guide for the fork and rear shock. I'm a long time competetive Mountainbiker and set-up is critical to getting the most from an MTB. BTW I'm 6 ft tall and weigh approx. 176 lbs with riding gear. Any advise? Thanks, Scott

    Welcome aboard, Rod.
The owner's guide will have the basic set info. Many people feel the stock suspension is sub-par. RaceTec springs and gold valves are a popular mod for the front end. Ohlins seems to be the most popular shock for the rear. If you search the site for any of these listed you will find bunches of info. All of these choices are expensive.
    Good luck.
