    Hi
As the title suggests it appears Givi have stopped including the Gen. 5 when it comes to support brackets.

I was looking to get a "TankLock" tank bag such as:
    https://www.givi.co.uk/givi-product...scooters/motorcycle-tank-bags/st612b-tanklock

However, they don't offer the specific "flange" for the Gen. 5 in which to fit to the tank via the bolts surrounding the petrol cap.
    The do offer it for the VFR 800 F (14-20) + VFR 800 V-TEC (02-11) & VFR 1200 (10-16).
This is what I mean btw: https://www.givi.co.uk/my-motorcycle/product/honda/vfr-800-vtec-02--11/optionals/bf03

So, does anybody know if the bolt holes of any of the above match the VR 800 Fi - Gen.5?
    Failing that any other bike?

    Knowledge would be appreciated.

I found the same with my Oxford tank ring. I think quite a few Hondas have this bolt pattern, you just might need to source your own bolts since the ones they supply might not be the right size or length

I know this doesn't answer your question, but Givi USA still lists the Gen 5. https://giviusa.com/collections/vfr800-98-01

I've never seen a dedicated tank ring on that page for it though, just the windshield and the two 257 racks.

I don't know for sure but I would be willing to bet my next paycheque that the 5th and 6th gen are the rings are the same. Best way to check this is look for a parts Fisch for both models and check the part numbers for the filler flange. If they are the same, then the rings from GIVI should be the same. Givi still offers parts for the 6th gen I see. Worth a look anyway.

The BF03 will fit down to 1988. I have installed one on my 88 Hawk GT, 89 CB-1, 92 & 95 VFR750. It is not correct for the 86/87 VFR.

Thanks for posting Rumblestrip, that is excellent news. I was hoping there would be other fittings that would work.
