    Ok, I got back from my birthday dinner last night and my wife hands me an envelope. Inside is a faux voucher for a trip through EDELWEISS BIKE TRAVEL . So it looks like a 2012, 8 day trip through the rolling hills and mountains in Italy ending at a MotoGP race at Mugello. She has been conspiring with a buddy of mine for the last month to set it up. I just have to pick the package and me and my buddy are off to Europe!! Counting the days!!

    A write up for sure will happen.

    It was always a dream of mine, the kind of dream that you joke about when people ask you what you'd buy with your PowerBall winnings. A dream that you know deep down inside you'll never experience. My wife and I are doing Ok but we, like many, are just a lost job away from trouble. So for her to take on some extra hours and squirrel away some money for a trip for me to Europe(something she's always wanted to do) without her, knowing there may not be a chance for us to go together is just incredibly humbling. In the face of such selflessness, I feel utterly unworthy and amazingly blessed.

    It will be difficult to be there and not think "man, if she could only see this" but when the boys are braking hard into turn 1 and thundering off, I think I'll manage some how.:biggrin:

    Hopit you are blessed! Many years ago my wife and I went on a motorcycle tour
    of six European countries and absolutely loved it. We were in a group of six BMWs
    and a luggage van. Enjoy the outstanding beer. :tongue:
