Painting the white HONDA stencil on the engine covers

    Our alternator cover and clutch cover all have a white HONDA logo on them. The letter, as we all know, are recessed. Has anyone been able to reapint the entire cover and HONDA logo succesfully to look like original?

    Yes. I have done it a couple different ways. One, VERY carefully by hand. Two, using more paint and letting it come up over the sides, and then wiping off the excess towards the recessed letter, with something flat wrapped in thin cloth. Your initial cover paint job has to be very cured, quality paint.

    Hmmmm, sounds good to me. I think I'll take a practice run on an old cover first.
