I tried a few of these out recently from Joe Nelson at V4Dreams.com.

My M/C (brake and clutch) sight glasses were wasted and starting to leak.

The fit of the part was perfect. There were good instructions included and installation went very well.

The hardest part is applying the clear silicone adhesive. I found if you screw it up it wipes off pretty easily to try again.

I have not had long term use yet, but I installed one on my 86 VF500F 4 months ago and it looks great with no leaks.

Installed glass with old glass next to it. Crystal clear. Just note that the new glass is plastic and MUCH thinner than the Honda OEM glass.

This is the adhesive I used. Not the same as regular clear silicone RTV and not easy to find I found out. I drove to several auto parts stores before I found it

Possibly.....Time will tell if this is a long term repair.

All I know is the sight glasses were leaking and I had no other real options.

There are some made in China glasses out there but the VRDreams were something that would be supported if there was an issue.

ALSO.....there is no set sizes on this glasses. Honda (Nissan) has several different sizes they have used over the years so be careful of the China units.

I'm not seeing the old glass in the picture, am I blind or was it crystal clear too?

    I
Haha, I won't admit how long I stared at that picture questioning my eye doctors results from my last eye exam.

Thanks for the review, I was considering doing this job myself eventually.
