    Hi there.

Been a regular visitor in this great forum for a while, so thought i'd might as well join :)

Bought my first MC little over 1 year ago - VFR RC36-1 and mostly just driving for fun during weekends. Been getting some great information from this forum to understand how these machines work and how to replace parts, etc.
Excellent advice in here, so thanks lot.

    See you around.

    Steen

    Hi Steen, welcome.

Everyone will bother you to show pictures, especially since that 750 is a beautiful bike.

I bought my first bike last year and also ride for fun nights and weekends, so we have a great deal in common.

Garaged for a Denmark winter. WTH. Do you ride a horse side saddle too. I suspect your winters are very close to what I experience here on the Wet Coast of Canada. You can ride if you want.

Welcome to the forum. It can be a place to learn. Then again we have our characters too. A lot of trusted advice can be sought and obtained from a few fine people here. Wished I could claim to be one of the but no. I tend to rely on advice, not give it.

    Easy on the newbie Randy!

It may still be fine for motorbikes in your part of Canada, but over in the Alps we had our first snowfall two weeks back and several of the mountain passes have now officially closed for the winter. Already my VFR is tucked up in the garage - where it will probably remain for the winter - as I know it will take ages to clean all the road salt off if I do get tempted by a break in the weather. For now the Street Triple is still under a tarp outside, ready for the occasional weekend meet, but it too will be given a thorough clean, coated in ACF50 and then parked up in the garage soon with the battery moved indoors hooked up to a tender.

If Denmark is also catching the bitter weather coming down from the Artic - then I don't blame anyone for parking up a motorbike especially if they don't have heated grips.

    :smow:

    :focus:

Anyway, welcome to the madhouse Strasmus:welcome:.

From the condition of the paintwork it looks like your bike was probably someone's pride and joy, and I guess they decided to upgrade the exhaust!

    Take care ATGATT

OK. Caught! I will cut probie a break. The nice thing out here in sw Canada, they do use a lot of salt or salt brine on the roads. We do get a little snow but black ice is more of a problem. And if rais. It fucking rains! We all have developed webbed feet here. So riding on the freeway in the rain is like pressure washing the underneath of your bike each time you ride in the rain. With all the miles on mine, there is no visible signs of rust.
