Well. Can't say I've priced one out for an 8th gen but I have had one for a 6th gen and it was something like $120.00 cdn. Both the Puig and the Zero Gravity are fine, but they are not the same quality and thickness of the OEM. So heads up on that.

Has anyone here ever tried vacuum moulding their own? For that price you could sort out a couple prototype moulds before finalizing a design and then maybe make some for your buddies and forum members.

That's my rc hobbyist shining through. I didn't like our body options and made my own. Pieces were smaller and much more manageable. They took paint too so optical quality was not crucial. Maybe another idea for the ghetto fabulous section.

I saw your post and you had some questions regarding the Piug windscreen and in another post the OEM Panniers vs Givi. So here are my choices base off of cost and convenience. I choose the Honda saddlebag set merely for the convenience, I believe that the Givi saddlebags offers a little more storage space and a little better quality. I just don’t like the Givi mounting racks for the saddlebags and the added effort of installation and removal for use of the Givi panniers, it’s ugly and I can remove the Honda saddlebags with the turn of a key. I haven’t used the Honda Panniers for a long trip yet. Now for my top case choices. Honda’s top case system is very expensive. $1200 for all 3 pieces that make up the system. I chose the Honda rear carrier for the fact that it is better quality and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and the Givi universal mount and SKU E360N 40L top case. While its load capacity is 22 pounds, I overloaded it to 30 pounds and enjoyed the added ease of roll-on wheelies. What a surprise that was and after that I left the traction control on for the rest of my Blueridge Parkway trip. When I bought my Honda accessories they were gracious enough to sell the all the accessories at a discounted price, but you’ll have to ask or beg…lol… I have the dark smoke Puig racing windscreen and I like it, it provides more wind protection then the stock windscreen. Besides you don’t have many to choose from…. I contacted Zero Gravity and they are not producing a double bubble until the end of 2016 if they make it at all.
