Ok, decided to put the R&G frame sliders on the 97.

No, there are no pictures becasue I have dial up and its a PIA. Anyway, there website www.R&Gracing.com has a great little video.

I wanted to post some tools you need to pull this job off without a headache...which you may get anyway.

    Adjustable wrench
    Good Tourque wrench
Socket set with up to a 17mm socket
    Electric/Cordless Drill
1 inch hole saw bit (core bit?) 1 inch=25mm
    Dremel Tool

The first problem I had was when I installed the replacement bolts for the engine bolts, You have to use the adjustable wrench to screw them in so the tourque wrench was out!? Apparently someone makes a tool for this but I don't have one so Bubba guessed.

Second problem was drilling the fairings LOL! Actually this was easy.

I used the method someone on VFRW described. Take a camera tripod and a laser pointer and duct tape it to the tripod so the laser is turned on. Adjust it so the laser dot is on the engine bolt you'll be removing, put the side fairing back on and were the dot is take a black Sharpie and touch the dot. Remove fairing again and drill. Easy, except for some reason on of my fairings something was a little off. So that's were the Dremel came in. I had to take a little off on one side. I thought it would look off, but the slider bobbin covers it up so no big deal.

Slide the parts on the bolt as the directions say (or don't say) and tighten the 17mm bolt per the tourque spec.

I wanted to post this so if anybody had questions I'd be more than glad to help. So ask me, PM me, or if you live near by I'll help ya!
