Hi, I just picked up a really clean '96 and was wondering what the stock R/R looked like as opposed to the later, improved version. I believe it's been swapped out but is there enough external difference to be able to eyeball it? Was the original finned? Thanks. Joe By the way, as an aside I ordered the GIVI top case mount for the '96 so I could swap my E46 case back and forth between my 4th and 6th gens. I love GIVI products but as usual their directions are hideous. Example: Step B: "Re-mount the Careening them the Monorack". How did they ever conquer the known world 2,000 years ago?...there's probably still the descendants of a Roman legion lost somewhere in the Alps, trying to read their own map...
