Here are 2 popular ones, though I am not sure which one you are referring to. I believe Tourist Trophy is real technical like Gran Tourismo. Did not get a good review at gamespot.com The MotoGP games ( 02 and 04 ) are supposed to be OK, too. I have not played any of them. I like games where you shoot the bad guys!! Very much looking forward to MOH Airborne next year.

Tourist Trophy is what I think reg is thinking of. I have it and I also rented Moto GP4. I think TT is more realistic. Going through all the trial to get bikes is kinda fun. The hardest bike for me to get was the Yammie TZ250. But I think it is more realistic of m/c characterisitcs than MotoGP4. That's Just my opinion thought

well, I'm not sure which is this one I was thinking of. I remember reading a review of two popular motorcyle racing games, and it's probably those two. The review said one was more fun than the other because of playability or something like that... Damn, I wish I remembered where I read that...

looks like youe can get them pretty cheap used, so why not get both? If wife has given the green light for the ten-nine-eight (that was you wasn't it, reg?), certainly she'll be OK with a measly 20 bucks for used games, right? It's for the sake of training, you know?

That's what I'd tell my wife. Actually, on second thought, I'd just buy it, and not tell her at all.

It's nice to be the King!

I believe that there is another one called "Suzuki Superbikes" or something like that. I have it, i just haven't played it yet. I also have the previously mentioned "Tourist Trophy". Haven't played that one yet either. Been playing Moto GP on my PSP. It's fun, graphics aren't great, but what do you expect. I enjoy games like that; fun, and easy to play ( I'm a Crew Chief, I like mindless games...).

If you have played Gran Tourismo 4, Tourist Trophy uses the same graphics engine. In fact. TT is based off of GT4. Most of the same tracks are there with a couple of new ones thrown in for motorcyclings sake. I think it is done pretty well, graphics are great, you can tweak the rider and his position on the bike. You cna even ride "The Ring"! Woohooo.

Ok, I ordered tourist trophy last night on ebay. It was $21 with shipping. I love Gran Tourismo 2 and 3 so I'm sure I'll like it. Now before I do a track day, I can learn my tracks. ;) hehe I almost wish I had just gone to the game store and looked for it used, but it seems like I have looked several times with no results...anyway, it'll prob be here in a week or so.

Moto gp is ok but not great.

TT also has the the VFR 800 stock
and the VFR 400 race modified.

I always have to be careful on these racing games, they can be so addicting to me, Me and my friends would play Gran Tourismo and Need for Speed back in California till dawn on weekends, we used to talk so much smack that our wife's would sometimes question if we even liked each other. Working my way through Moto GP and after this thread, looks Tourist Trophy is next...
