Im new to the site and wanna say hi first. Hi I have owned a rc24 for a long time now and just really got started fixing it up a few months ago, the bike was converted for the track and some real nice modifications had been previously made. Like R6 forks, scorpion under seat exhaust, cbr900 wheels and a full track fairing. The problem I had was it was no longer looking so good as the engine was blown and pretty much everything fiddled with, plus the big bag of bolts and bits. Anyway after changing the engine for a stock rc24 one I then had to make a decision on what I was going to do with the bike, I didn't really want to track ride it but there was so much missing or removed that it was never going to be a stock rc24 ever again. My decision was to remove the race fairings, a good spray job and hopefully end up with a half decent streetfighter/cafe racer. All has gone very well but I have had some real issues getting new stock parts I need to go back on to a less than stock machine, (this was to be expected.) Anyway so after another big bag of cash, a few weekends of hard labour and some new tasty parts like my new acewell all in one speedo/rev unit I've hit a small problem... I don't like wiring at the best of times and almost forced myself to look at the pretty much none exsitant loom that was left on the bike, literally just the coil wires, regulator and Cdi remained. I've now wired up lights, clocks ect ect. This is where I need some help and I was hoping someone may know enough to help me? My clock is wired in and I've found the neutral switch wire and tapped into it, I now have a neutral light on, but it does not go off when in any gear. It goes off once the engine has started and I'm guessing this is due to not having a diode in there? So I have bought a diode but i dont know where to put it as I don't have the side stand wiring or the clutch wiring just some dead ends out if the Cdi loom. So basically I need to now how to instal a neutral indicator and diode from scratch?? Thanks for reading and helping out I hope to get some pics up here soon of the build incase anyone is interrsted. Thanks again
