I'd appreciate advice on this project - I have an RC30 rolling chassis but no RC30 engine (yet) so am fitting an RC36 engine. Any advice much appreciated. This is a pure race/ track bike, incidentally.

    - the RC36 engine fits OK (with small modifications). The engine mounting points are a bit puzzling - I have had to machine-up 5mm spacers to make the mounting points snug to the frame. I guess this is "normal"?

    - radiator(s) ... Im thinking of fitting a pair of VFR400 radiators. Anyone got any experience of doing this modification?

    - I'm thinking of fitting a Bosch electric water pump to (maybe?) get another BHP or two. This is not uncommon on RC30s. Any thoughts (apart from "why bother!"

    - The RC36 thermostat fouls the frame and I can't see a neat/ tidy way around it. Given I'm thinking about fitting an electric water pump, can I run without a thermostat at all?

I have many more questions but I don't want to overload ...

    Cheers!
