What do U mean by "chain grind"? What parts are grinding? Also, what model year do U have? I have a 2003 and the chain spec is 25 mm to 35 mm play measured halfway between the sprockets. This equates to 0.984 inch to 1.38 inch. Too tight maybe? If it's too tight it will make a humming or zipper-like sound and your close-ratio transmission will feel even closer-ratio on and off the gas because of too little slack.
