Rear Preload Adjuster Mounting

    Hey all.

    I've got myself a 09 With ABS. My wife has already made herself completely clear that she will not go on the bike with me, so I've decided to remove the rear passenger foot pegs. when I tried to remove the right side I found that the rear preload adjuster is mounted to the foot peg assembly. Has anyone had any luck with mounting the adjuster without the foot pegs installed? Let me know and pictures are great please!

    I dont have a pic
    but I have seen them mounted to the pass FP mount w/ a pc of aluminum
