So I decided to not sell and now I'm starting a complete teardown and rebuild on my '85.
Frame is off for a blast and paint. Carbs are off for refresh and sync. Debating sending the engine off.

I was getting the swing arm and suspension linkages all cleaned off.

The bushing 52453-MA1-731 itself looks like it has seals, but they aren't marked as such on the parts guide (see image). The only image I trust on ebay doesn't show anything.

I was worried about the rubber not standing up to parts cleaner or something else screwing up the bushing if the seal and the bushing are somehow an integrated part. Does anybody have any insight on this part?

    Thanks!

It is a bushing with the rubber vulcanized making it not serviceable. I hand clean that suspension piece when prepping for paint and re-grease. It does hold up to gas and a toothbrush when cleaning the other needle bearings, which I usually do with those seals still in place.

Good to know, thank you. I haven’t given them a hard scrub because the rubber seemed a little worn around the outer diameter.
My assumption is that this is a force-fit component at the best of times and replacing one would not be worth the trouble.
