Working with some dealers nearby and have a 1st offer of $11.5k out the door for a '14 DLX. Sound reasonable?

was going to say most are in the mid 9k bracket now. So depending on the dealer extras and how hard they are for a sale. one trick I've learned is have your money all ready be it cash or loan then throw the offer on the table, 8 times outa 10 they'll take it. no sense throwing good hard money away.

Classic advice: Walk out at least once. If they do not know you may say "no" then they have control. I don't mean to give any sales people a hard time. They are nice decent people as well. So it is a fine line. Don't waste their time, but do push for your rights to your money.

Seconding the hard-liners, I'd say this - do some research, figure out what you think is a good, fair price and then play hardball to hit that price using all the excellent advice above.
