I am looking to make my 04 as loud as possible. I heard if you run your bike hot, shut her off and poor cold water through the 2 bros slip on, the baffle will dissipate. Has anyone heard of that? I know you have to open up the other end keeping it from getting to the head.

I wanna be sure it works.

From the pic's in your gallery it looks like you have the VALE system. Assuming you have the gold power tips removed, you have a pretty much straight through design. Removing the baffle material will give you a little more noise but its going to sound tinny because you'll basically have an echo chamber. I've never heard of the water method. The cans are made to be repacked, all you have to do is drill out the rivets and pull out the inner part. I think the 2 bros website had directions.

If you want really good sound, leave the cans intact and get rid of your cat. Its muffling your sound and limiting your performance.

    Personal Rant-
I would ask you to think about running what amounts to a straight pipe. I know you like the sound, but your pissing most people off. To most of the population there is no difference between your bike and a Hog running shorty pipes. City's all over are putting laws on the books to limit bikes to stock exhaust. Running overly loud pipes does nothing for performance and tends to gives all the politicians more ammo to place restrictive laws on the books.
Rant off - back to your normal programing.
