On the right side of my 03 there is a knob mounted to the passenger footpeg bracket. I want to remove the passenger footpegs but don't know where to remount the pre load adjust knob? I see a lot of pictures of VFR's that don't have it? Can I remove it and is it a factory option?

It is an OEM part on the ABS version of the VFR. Don't try to remove it, just find a way to remount it. Maybe a small bracket can be mounted where the pillion peg hangers were attached?

And be grateful that you even have it. - Not every country gets the option of buying the ABS model.

Thansks Rainbow7, I will vouch for having ABS. I have it on my Harley and it has saved my a** more than a couple times.
