Hey guys. I bought a very nice 1985 VF700f about three months ago. The bike looks fantastic and it runs flawlessly. It has just over 30K on it. The previous owner had just installed new sprockets and chain, new front fork seals and had gone thru the clutch. The problem I'm having is it seems to have a pretty rough ride especially on bad pavement. I have tried playing with the small dial on the right top fork. I have tried both no air in the forks and only 2 or 3 pounds of air in the forks. I have tried the same process with the rear shock. It seems to be about the same no matter what I do. Does the rear shock have any other adjustment other than air pressure. Is there anything else that I'm missing? It seems to handle pretty good for it's age. Any suggestions would be very helpful. What is the proper tire pressure on this bike?
