Has a hesitation from off idle till about 2800 rpm than back again at 4500. Runs great above 5000. Cleaned injectors, ended up replacing one. Suggestions? John t
Hi John and welcome to the MadHouse:welcome: When you get time please swing by the "Introductions" forum and say Hi to the rest of the folks on here and add a photo or two of your VFR. :focus: As for your question - I admire your brevity but in this case - probably too brief. This is a classic example of assuming folks hundreds of miles away know stuff which at the moment only you know - so start with the basics - what year/model VFR are we talking about? What do you know about its history - was it running fine before? Have you had a crash or done any work on the bike recently which might have triggered the problems.. If you tell us anything which might be pertinent we will be better placed to offer sensible comments. Maybe add the bike specs and a rough location to your forum profile (forum actions + edit profile) that way the details will automatically appear alongside all your posts and if you need help you may find someone living nearby is willing to swing-by and offer help or advice - especially if you have a well stocked beer fridge. The very first 6th gen I work on had leaking injectors, sat too long and when the fuel went bad it damaged the injectors. They would leak slightly and cause it to load up at idle and low RPM's and at lowers cruising speed but would clear up momentarily if revved up or run at higher RPM's. I have local place I do business with that can test them, you may want to have the other three checked for leakage, spray pattern and volume. Or just chuck the other three to be sure. That is what I got.
