So, I've has my eye on a VFR1200X for a while, Planning on doing the NW500 in July, the old girl (VFR800Fi) is just to small for my 6,4 self. So doing E-bay, autotrader, searches, come across a few 2020 DCT models I like, got the images and videos sent across from the dealers selling the bike. On all the images, videos, the nuts on and around brake callipers, mud-guards, under drive shaft, all seem to suffer from a lot of rust/corrosion. Is this a common theme on these bikes? My VFR800 2001 hasn't had this issue. Haver any of you guys who own them had this with the rusting?
I'll be looking to replace most of the rust damaged ones with a stainless kit of E-bay, but it makes me worry about the condition of the parts I cant see, and issues arising from this.
