I DO NOT like the looks of the 6th Gen at all. I think the front is ugly.

I saw the RWB today at the local dealer. All I can say is "WOW". This color scheme is breathtaking in person. I always like the original RWB from the 80's but this one is gorgeous.

    KC-10 FE out...

I still haven't seen one in person. I need to make a roadtrip to a CA dealer that has one. Maybe I'll call around and schedule a test ride... hmmm...

I visited a dealer in NZ who did not even know the RWB existed.....
I asked how I could get one and was told that our country only imports red or black:mad:

    Shocking.
If you have a RWB VFR....... lucky people !!!!!!!!!!!

Was ALL over the RWB at the Long Beach show... Lompuke's honda dealer has one parked on the lot... Should be at the centerpiece of their showroom!

Sounds like my Dealer in Nashua NH... I asked about it Before it had been shipped and asked if they knew when about they would get the 2007 RWB... They looked at me like I had 2 heads...I asked if they had internet and I showed them hondanews.com.... 5 salesmen are crowding around this on salesman's 15" screen to look at the bike picture and were shocked they had not heard of it....

They actually have on in the showroom... I just picked up an 02.... My "Plan" is to maybe pick up a RWB in 2-3 years used....

I also did not like the looks of the front end (gen 6).
    Then I saw the RWB.
    Now I own one.

I, too, have to agree I wasn't thrilled w/ my first look at the 6th Gen. I saw a pearl white one at the dealer and like others here, that front end wasn't appealing at all. Last week I saw the RWB at the same dealer and I have to say it looks great; I still think the front leaves something to be desired, but the paint job cancels all that out. Too bad I can't afford it right now. Plus, I'm still in love with my '98.

I stopped in the local Honda dealer here in town to pick up some honda brite and on my way out decided to swing through the showroom for a peak at the 07's. Here is what happened:

SALES HICK: "You need some help dere bossman?"

ME: "Nah, just looking around. Say, I do not see any of the 07 VFRs. Am I missing something?"

SALES HICK: "Naw, you ain't missin nothin, we ain't got none of them thangs. Just that 06 over there. She's out the door at $10,500 if yer interstid, or how bout of of dem CBR's?"

ME: "No thanks. I was kinda hoping to sit on that pretty RWB 07."

SALES HICK: Well, your gunna havta gooone (hick for Go On) up to Raleigh or some other big city like Charlottes (apparently it's a plural city now), cause der ain't no muney in them bikes no-how, so our owner ain't gunna get nun'ovm"

ME: "Huh. Ok. Take er easy dere buuudy." (what can I say, it rubs off on you after awhile)

Sooooo, No 07 VFRs in "deez here parts" (Fayetteville, Ft Bragg/PAFB.) Sorta sad considering how ugly all the other squid bikes looked even compared to the black 06 VFR. I guess it's all about speed and stupidity before looks for those guys.

This is especially true if you get the fender eleminator and hike her skirt up a bit.

I would have to agree. When I first saw the bike, the front reminded me of a Blackbird, but I loved the rest of it, especially the tail. I didn't decide to buy one until the RWB came out. I think that the single color bikes bring out the curves of the bike more than the tri-color. The tri-color, beyond a doubt, softens the lines.

hitting the curves around here the kids only see the tail. they all think it's only about take off ,but most of them are scared of their bikes on the track. last trip to the drag strip all i herd was rev-limiters.

friday night on my way to the dragstrip i encountered one of texas finest. when i saw him crest the hill (yes texas has some hills) i was doing about 90,so my second reaction was to pull-over. which was as it tirned out the best thing, because i got off with a warning, he seemed so freaked out that i stoped that he didn't give me a ticket.

    Can I just say:

Who cares what the front looks like... All I see on the saddle is the Road and the looks of all the folks who wonder what the hell the best sounding bike they have eaver heard or seen is...

Nice. You're going to love it. I'm still drueling over the RWB paint job. Honda earned their money on this paint scheme.

Don't let the vtec stop you! I never rode a gen6 until I bought my RWB. It does add some character - I could live without it, but the gen 6 has other attributes. Like what? Like KILLER headlights, great hard luggage (I'm sorry, you whiners here have never owned some of BMW's worst or Ducati!) that looks good, the best looking butt on a VFR -and clearly one of the best 3 ever! Oh yeah, and the RWB paint scheme.
