I've decided to trade in my 2005 Japanese domestic model VFR on a 2007 Triumph Tiger 1050. I liked the VFR, but my old, decrepit body couldn't handle the riding position, even after installing Convertibars and a Corbin seat; and, it was frustrating knowing the export models make so much more horsepower than the domestic model, which is limited to 80 bhp.

I will soon post a Corbin seat, Convertibars, and Zero Gravity Touring windscreen in the Classifieds section. More info and pictures there.

I haven't contributed much but have picked up lots information from you guys and girls through lurking. Thanks, and good luck to you all.

    Be safe,
    Don

Don, best of all things with your new ride. Even tho you won't be on a vfr, you will still be welcome to contribute whatever knowledge you have about them and are more than welcome to remain as a member of the community.

    Ride on.

Don, come on back anytime. I'd like to hear about the new bike. I actaully saw one two days ago and thought it looked interesting. It's a pretty unique bike.

You're going to love the Triumph! I got to test ride one and it was the easiest bike to ride, I did a 5 mile loop, which included freeway and residential roads, and I only put my foot down 3 times in about a dozen stops. Very well balanced and the suspension was very sporty to boot. I had to walk away fast to keep from buying one. Good luck and enjoy it!
